I love the loneliness of country roads at night.

The light beyond
You may think I am a bit strange, but I don’t mind walking around  a cemetery at night. Actually I find it almost comforting, particularly this one because my late father it at this one.
This photo is very evocative for me as it seems to be saturated with symbolism. I hope you enjoy it.
Brae Lossie Stars
For the last two years, we have stayed at a farm stay in the Gingkin area of NSW. I have been so taken by the beauty of the stars there, I recently asked if I could take a shot of the early winter starscape. It’s the kind of place where major constellations are drowned out by all the other bright stars. Can you pick out Scorpious the scorpion? This is a link to the farm’s website. http://www.stayz.com.au/accommodation/nsw/blue-mountains/jenolan-caves/23675
Jenolan Stars
Up in the highland country west of Sydney are the Jenolan Caves. The kind of place you cannot answer a mobile phone and the road out there is even more isolated. At night it’s cold and dark. Perfect for beautiful southern stars.
Cityscape
Not many may know but the building on the right featured very strongly in the first Matrix movie. I love the circular building up ahead which looks like it’s just about to take off.
‘Sit’ Luna
Golden retrievers are always eager to please – Luna is waiting patiently to be let free to enjoy the paddock.
Three Mile Dam
In the Australian Snowy Mountains, Chinese miners built this dam to separate precious gold from the earth. I am sure, not only photographers thank them – so does the local wildlife.
